Outer Banks Fishing Reports

Inshore Cobia fishing

We have a couple from Florida fishing with us for the next 5 days. Fellows, listen to this. As a Christmas gift, this nice lady gave her husband 5 days of charters on the Hoo Dini. She said her husband worked hard and deserved it. What a woman!
Tropical Depression Barry not only caused us to miss the opportunity to fish with the Fullers yesterday. The remains of Barry made our day of cobia fishing quite a challenge. This morning was overcast and still a little breezy. About noon, the sun broke out to shine brightly over the dirtiest brown water you have ever seen. The cobia were in full camo in that stuff. Even so, we managed to spot 4 fish. Two made it to the boat, along with some bluefish and albacore. Tomorrow, looks good for some blue water action. We’ll keep you posted on the action.
