Outer Banks Fishing Reports

No Tuna… But Dolphin, Tilefish, King Mackerel & Cobia

We had a fun bunch on a make-up today. It’s nice when a bunch of strangers get along so well on a hard day fishing. Tuna may have taken the day off, but there are other critters to catch. We had a few gaffer dolphin (one was a real nice bull), a limit of tasty tilefish, a king mackerel, and a special guest… a nice, big, old cobia. Cobia usually stay closer in to the beach, but occasionally we are treated with one offshore. Thanks folks, come back to see us next time. Maybe the tuna will have better appettites.
