Another great group of fellows today. We had a few real nice tuna, before the bite slacked off. We then made a few bottom drops for some tasty tilefish & sea bass. Thanks folks, we really enjoyed it. Come back to see us.

Big Eye Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin & 450# Blue Marlin

What a day. After a bit of a slow start, thing just kept getting better. With only 2 anglers on the boat, they had their hands full. Not only did they get their limit of nice yellowfin tuna, they got to do battle with a couple of bruiser Big Eye Tuna, a handful of dolphin and a big ‘ol Blue Marlin. The marlin looked to be about 450#, and she really put on a good show. The 1 Big Eye that made it to the boat was a citation, at 109 #. These 2 fellows were battling fish most of the day, and smiled the entire time. We really enjoyed it fellows & look forward to doing it again next year.

Limit of Tilefish, Hammerhead & Dolphin

We had a great bunch of Suffolk folks today. These fellows have worked hard all year building houses, and the boss man rewarded them with a fishing trip. We got covered up several times, but the hooks just didn’t seem to hold for us. We did manage to get a nice gaffer before moving on to some awesome bottom fishing. A big mako kept acting like he wanted our tilefish, so Jay fed him one on some cable. Apparently, a big old hammerhead beat him to it. He gave a good fight.

Thanks fellows. We really enjoyed spending the day with y’all. We hope to see you again soon.
